17. Bioptic driving in The Netherlands and the European Union

Bioptic driving in The Netherlands and the European Union became legal and commenced practiced in 2009. This was a collaboration with the Royal Dutch Visio (disability rehabilitation centre) and the CBR (driver licence examination centre) that commenced in the 1990s with research and discussions leading to pilot project.
